Chicago does not have a traditional ball drop like New York City. Instead, the city rings in the New Year with a spectacular midnight fireworks display! Guests may be able to enjoy views of the fireworks from select Lakeview hotel rooms; however, for the ultimate New Year's Eve experience, we highly recommend celebrating in the ballroom, where you'll enjoy the full festivities, entertainment, energy, and official midnight countdown celebration.
